Our available training programs are designed to fit your needs and lifestyle. You can participate in the classroom environment or benefit from in-home training. We have basic agility classes for those of you who think your dog might succeed in the sport! We offer the Canine Good Citizens preparation course and are certified by the A.K.C. to conduct the test! We can address all your behavior problems, from people / dog aggression, to over exuberance and excitability. We have an awesome trick training class for graduates that elevates your previously learned obedience to a higher (& fun) level!
All of our students become part of an elite group of dog lovers, and are preferred members of our Fur-Ever Counseling Program. This entitles you to invitations to dog parties, play dates, participation in local events, and perpetual canine care counseling, for ALL your doggy needs! When you enroll with Be A Good Dog University, you have us for life!
We believe that training is something that the two of you do together, rather than something that you do to your dog. Training should be something that both of you enjoy. The joys and benefits of training are numerous and far outweigh the time spent doing it. Good dogs don't just happen! Want to add a new member to your home? Let us help you choose the right dog for your particular living situation and lifestyle. Remember, dogs are not disposable. Adding a new friend is a life time commitment! We are familiar with the local shelters & rescues and can find the perfect match for you!
Adopting from a kennel? Let us help make the transition from the kennel to your home easier by assisting you prior, during and after you welcome your new family member in!
For everyone who adopts from a local shelter or rescue, we offer a FREE complementary Obedience session to help reintroduce a kennel dog into your home. We strongly urge people to take advantage of this program! There is also a 20% discount for any of our available training programs.
Need reliable dog related resources such as a groomer or a boarding facility? We never refer clients to businesses that we ourselves haven't personally checked out and would use for our own dogs!!!
Need advice about nutrition, health, grooming, or senior dog care? We can assist you with any questions or concerns you may have in these areas. Remember, we are not veterinarians so for emergencies, you will need to contact your doctor!
