Clicker Training:       Trick Class!

  Get ready for some fun! You're about to embark on a journey into the exciting world of trick training, our newest addition to Be A Good Dog University's interactive training courses!

  This course is based on a powerful approach to learning called Clicker Training. This 6 week course walks you through a series of games that involve both dog and owner, teaching your dog several fun tricks and equipping you with clicker training skills that you can use to train other desirable behaviors.

About the training process:

Clicker Training is a powerful technique that uses positive reinforcement and an identifying marker (the click) to teach behaviors to animals and humans. It is based on decades of research in the field of behavioral science. Karen Prior first used the clicker while working as a dolphin researcher and trainer, and later pioneered the use of clicker training for dogs.

For your dog to qualify for the Trick Training Class, he/she must know and demonstrate basic training.

We will cover:

*Clicker Training Basics

*More than a dozen fun tricks

*Confidence building exercises

Requirements for the class include:

***Appropriate Equipment (listed on course outline)
