Does The Instructor Take My Dog To Train It?
You are the primary care giver in every part of your dogs life, including behavior control. The training process will be more successful if you are the one to train the dog. Most of our classes are closed sessions and our one on one involvement with both dog and owner is essential to the training process. The participation of the whole family is strongly recommended, as well as close friends and relatives! In Spring of 2010 we will be offering "Training Daycare" where you will be able to leave your dog/puppy with one of our skilled trainers during business hours for socialization, exercise and training! How Often Are The Classes Held?
Classes are held for at least one hour to an hour and a half, once a week;
Behavior Modification is aimed primarily toward a one on one visit from one or all of the instructors, depending upon the needs of the dog and owners.
If, by the end of any of the courses, you have not achieved the goals you desired, additional classes can be scheduled. We also offer private lessons in your home for any of our available programs, tailored to your dog's individual learning needs.
Only positive reinforcement is allowed! We use a language your dog will understand, and we condition desirable responses by using positive reinforcement. Several different methods are available and we use as many as we need to in order to find the right method for your individual dog's needs. Whatever technique your dog responds to quickly, eagerly and properly, will be the course we'll take for the remainder of the program. Remember, it's all about molding your dog into an acceptable citizen using only gentle techniques.
What Guarantees Do I Have?
We can guarantee that if you put 100% effort towards your dog's training, you will see results!! What determines effective results isn't the program itself, but how much involvement you put into the training of your dog!There are never 100% guarantees in dog/puppy obedience. We can guarantee that you will be educated in the most widely accepted obedience training used world wide and recommended by top trainers and behaviorist.

What Are The Class Requirements?

What Will I Receive During The Different Courses?
Each program has individual challenges that you are expected to refine as the course moves on. Upon graduation from any of our available programs, you will receive a personalized diploma, a graduation gift, a full color, in-depth manual containing the entire course subject matter, and a C.D of class pictures of your dog. In addition, you will be invited to participate in dog party's, activities and festivals, as well as a discount on any of your available Be A Good Dog U. career choices for your dog.
How Much Do The Courses Cost?
AKC Star Puppy- $100 for 6 weeks
Basic Obedience- $150 for 8 weeks
AKC Canine Good Citizens- $130 for 6 weeks
Introductory Agility- $200-$250 for 8-10 weeks
Trick Training Class- $100 for 6 weeks
Where Are The Classes Held?
We travel to local areas where the interest is enough to form a class of 4 or more students for our 8 week programs and 3 or more students for our
6 week programs. We have access to various parks and public businesses around the lake area and are eager to commit ourselves to serving you and your dog at your convenience. So gather your friends and we will be there!

In-home sessions are available! We create a personalized curricullum, based primarily on your particular lifestyle, your dog's individual needs and the pattern it takes to lead your dog toward your goals.
If you are not sure your dog is suitable for a class environment, we can evaluate your situation and determine if there is modification needed.
